Garden flowers 2024 series

This year, my artistic endeavors have centered on sketching flowers from various private and public gardens. Creating these botanical pastel drawings live provides numerous advantages. It allows me the liberty to choose the perspective I want to capture and fully engage with the environment. Art creation, for me, serves as both a creative outlet and a meditative practice. I can tell a drawing is successful when I sense a harmonious connection with the natural world.
